THE BLAU METHOD™ COLLECTIVE

The things affecting your life deserve more than an Instagram post.

Relationships. Sex. Desire. Pain. Infertility. Identity. Resentment. Communication. Emotional regulation.

Every month, Dr. Carli takes one of them on.
Learn it. Talk about it. Work on it.

A monthly educational membership: one focused topic, teaching from Dr. Carli, practical resources, and two live Collective conversations each month.

Not therapy. Not another self-help feed. A place to finally understand some of the things nobody taught us how to navigate.

These are the questions people actually ask.

Where did my desire go?
I love my partner. Why don’t I want them?
Why does sex hurt—and what do I do next?
Why does sex suddenly feel like work?
Why the hell do I keep doing this?
Why do I completely lose myself when someone is upset with me?
Who am I now that everything has changed?

People don’t always need another inspirational message. Sometimes they need someone to explain: What is happening to me? Why? And what can I actually do with that information?

That is the role of The Blau Method™ Collective. Every month, one real issue gets a real answer—and then you get somewhere to talk about it.

How the month works

Week 1 — The Lesson. Dr. Carli teaches the month’s topic, made understandable and applicable to real life.
Week 2 — The Work. A workbook, conversation guide, prompts, or assessment to get it out of your head and into your life.
Week 3 — The Conversation. The first live Collective gathering: ask questions, hear other people’s experiences, see how the material shows up in real life.
Week 4 — The Integration. A second live conversation that goes wider: what’s coming up, where you’re stuck, what you’re trying to change.

You don’t have to be struggling with a given month’s topic to belong. Some months will feel intensely personal. Others will teach you something about your partner, your friend, your child, your body, or your own patterns that you didn’t know you needed.

This isn’t therapy. It’s education with somewhere to go afterward.

Taught by someone who does this for a living.

Dr. Carli Blau is a psychotherapist, sex therapist, and educator, the founder of Boutique Psychotherapy in New York City, and the creator of The Blau Method™.

Her work sits where psychology, sexuality, and relationships meet—the places where most people have real questions and very few good answers.

In the Collective, she teaches. Not in clinical jargon and not in inspirational fragments, but in plain language about what’s actually happening beneath the surface, why, and what you can do with that information.

Sex is one of the doors into The Blau Method™. It isn’t the whole house.

What membership includes

  • A new monthly focus
One meaningful topic explored deeply—not dozens of disconnected pieces of content.
  • Teaching from Dr. Carli
Psychology, sexuality, relationships, and human behavior translated into language you can actually use.
  • Practical resources
Workbooks, reflection exercises, conversation guides, and self-assessments. Built to move you from “I understand this” to “I can see how this shows up in my life.”
  • Two live conversations each month
Come ask questions, listen, learn, share if you want to, and hear from people navigating many of the same things.
  • A community that gets it
A place for the conversations that are hard to have anywhere else.
  • The full archive
Every past month’s lesson and resources, so you can go back to the topic that matters when it matters.

What we’re taking on

A sample of what a year in the Collective covers. Topics are announced ahead of each month.

  • Where Did My Desire Go?
Understanding desire, arousal, and why wanting sex isn’t as simple as “having a libido.”
  • Differentiation
How to remain yourself while being deeply connected to someone else—and why this changes relationships.
  • Sexual Confidence
Understanding what sexy means when nobody else gets to define it for you.
  • When Sex Hurts
Painful sex, pelvic health, avoidance, fear, and rebuilding safety.
  • Trying to Make a Baby
Infertility, trying to conceive, reproductive stress, and what happens when sex starts feeling like a job.
  • Sex After Life Happens
Cancer, chronic illness, medication, changing bodies, and maintaining sexuality through difficult seasons.
  • The Sexless Relationship
Desire discrepancy, avoidance, rejection, resentment, and what happens when one person wants sex and the other doesn’t.
  • The Relationship Reset
Communication, resentment, recurring patterns, and learning to relate differently.
  • Who Am I Now?
Identity, motherhood, partnership, aging, sexuality, and finding yourself after life changes you.
  • Emotional Regulation
Why we react, shut down, spiral, lash out, or lose control—and what it takes to respond differently.

This Is For You If…

  • Your relationship feels disconnected and you want to understand why.
  • You don’t want sex—or you want more than your partner does.
  • Sex hurts, or your body has changed, and nobody has explained what’s going on.
  • You’re trying to conceive and sex has started to feel like a job.
  • You keep losing your temper, shutting down, or repeating a pattern you can already name.
  • You’ve lost yourself in parenting or partnership and want to find your way back.
  • You don’t have a crisis—you just want a real explanation for how people work.

Finally. Someone is actually going to teach you about this.

One topic. One month. A lesson, a resource, and two live conversations with people who get it.

Join for this month’s topic. Stay for the next one.
